I'd like to say a big "Hello!" to
you regular subscribers of ProsperityUnleashed!
and extend a Super Special "Welcome
to the Group!" to all of you who are new
subscribers as well, especially to those of you who
have joined recently through my good friend John Delavera's
awesome Turbo
Collection.
It's been quite awhile since you've received an issue of this
newsletter--nearly four whole months!--and
for that I would like to humbly ask both your forgiveness
and your pardon.
A lot has happened during that time,
and if you'll be so gracious as to allow me to, I will
give you a brief update.
For those of you who have been with me for awhile you know
that in January I put together a very unique collection
of my own to help you get tools and resources to help
you "kick-start" your own personal or business
goals for 2006. I called it "30
Days of Success" and set it
up via autoresponder.
Because I literally created it 'by the seat of my pants', that
meant that I had to spend nearly thirty
days creating each page and uploading
it and the gift for it, so that pretty much took up
the time I would have usually spent putting
together the January editon . . .
That and an absolutely incredible Joint Venture that was initially
started by using one of my "Info-Strategies."(TM)
I had been contacted about being a part of an international
group creating a unique new Success-oriented product.
However, to get on board was extremely pricey, to say
the least. Now I really wanted to get in on--and
learn from--this amazing opportunity, so I e-mailed the Master Marketer
heading up the project--who is also a friend--and after
a little discussion, we reached an agreement whereby
I would serve as project editor.
So. . . (you guessed it!) during the course of nearly two
and a half months I was working on editing the
project. I finished the task in early March--the night
before my parents arrived from Michigan to stay for
five days.
I had no idea what would happen the day after they had arrived,
but God did, and my parents couldn't have come at a
better time.
If you know anything about me or if you've read my Bio
Page, you know that since the fall of 1993
I've worked either part or full time at the Christian
radio station in our town. The station's
manager, Jim Cody, whom I've known and worked with during
my time at the station, was to have heart surgery on
March 14th in Nashville. As heart operations go it was
to be 'routine'; however, it turned out to be anything
but that.
As a Christian, Jim said that he had peace from God about the
operation--and even had me record a statement to that
fact to be aired on the radio. I had no idea that that
would be the last time I would speak to him this side
of Heaven because on Wednesday, March 15th, due to humanly
unexplainable circumstances, my friend, boss, spiritual
mentor and brother in the Lord passed away.
It was an absolute shock to me, to all of us. So many people
had been praying for Jim but God chose to heal his heart
beyond this world. His family, friends and the station's
staff miss him dearly, even though we know we will see
him again someday.
Jim
had asked me to do the news for him and I have been
continuing to do so along with doing my weeknight shift.
Not only that but I've also been doing the weekend shift
that he used to do. As a result, I've been working seven
days a week for about two months now. It's a small station
and yes, we're short-handed but are all pulling together
to get the job done, with much grace and strength from
the Lord.
Needless
to say, I've been doing a lot of soul-searching myself--especially
in view of my wife's recent outpatient surgery--which
was very successful.
Going
back to the subject of Joint Ventures, in my Feature
Article I'm going to let you in on one that's been "in
the works" with my partner for over a year. You
see, I not only try to teach you about my "Info-Strategies"(TM),
but I use them all the time. And simply because I took
the time to try to help him market his incredible ebook
product, one of the results was the idea for a brand
new site that's taking the Internet Marketing world
by storm!
So,
to make a long story short: I'm not offering excuses
here but simply explaining why you haven't
gotten any issue of ProsperityUnleashed!
until now.
Now that I've gotten you "up
to speed" on what's been happening with me, let's
move on to the current issue.
You'll find a brand new article
by a very talented lady who has recently been in the
forefront of Online Marketing. I'm referring to Liz
Tomey, with whom I was a co-JV partner in creating a
product about Joint Venturing. I think you'll like what
she shares about her experience with Resale Rights.

You
never know what might happen when you send
an e-mail or post a response in a forum . . . and you
will never find out until you try! Having been a member
of the illustrious "Internet Marketing" niche
since 2000 I can truthfully state that some of my best
Joint Ventures have been totally unplanned.
With
all of the attention that the subject of JV's has been
getting recently it would seem that achieving a successful
one should be a textbook case, "a walk in the park."
That is by no means a slam against these products; I
own, and am an affiliate for, many of them.
But
even though this method has been honed down to a science,
particularly with Sterling Valentine's product,
I have discovered, through my own efforts that were
not aimed at creating a JV, that we must never forget
the human factor.
No
matter how "big" or "small" a particular
marketer may be in the I.M. 'pond', he or she is first
and foremost, a person. Somebody with
needs, feelings, concerns and frustrations, just like
all the rest of us. And when you purposefully focus
on that aspect, with no ulterior motive ("I'd like
to do a JV with this person") in mind, you will
often get the most astonishing results!
Case
in point: when Mike Mograbi introduced his 378
Internet Marketing Predictions Two Volume E-Book set
I was totally amazed at what
he had singe-handedly created! I sent him an
e-mail congratulating him on his new product and that
asked him about an affiliate program for his ebooks.
He politely responded with a thank-you and the link
for his affiliate program.
Mike
was beginning to become 'known' in the Online Marketing
industry and was also a JV partner in a couple of other
products. We had begun emailing each other on occasion;
I was still totally awed by the fact that he had conducted
the massive research for his ebooks completely by himself.
I had a product idea that had come about as I was thinking
about this astounding feat and so I emailed him about
it.
Although
my suggestion did not end up getting off the ground,
that was the defining moment that set into motion a
new partnership that birthed the concept--and creation--of
a radically new Internet-Marketing based product idea
that has been turning the heads of and getting rave
reviews from several of the most prominent online
marketers. Of course I'm referring to the "Pulse
of Internet Marketing," IMNewswatch.com
It
was nearly a year and a half from concept to launch,
with many, many hours of writing e-mails, messaging
each other and chatting via Skype, brainstorming, researching
and planning. And throughout that time we have come
to share many things besides online marketing. A year
and a half of friendship and partnership that began
with a simple little e-mail that focused on the
human factor, and saw Mike as a person,
not a prospect or potential JV partner.
Without
question I'm one of those who "eats, sleeps and
drinks" Marketing; I love it! But even as marketers,
we must be willing to remove our marketing 'hat' and
communicate with each other with the human factor
in mind. When we do, it will make all
the difference in the world.

Five
Ways To Maximize Profit In Resale Rights Marketing

Product
creation is usually one of the first concerns of an
internet marketer. Conceptualizing a profitable idea
and formulating a marketing plan to sell it is a relatively
exhausting task. Not everyone is gifted with the creative
juices to come up with a cutting edge concept.
Fortunately,
there's resale rights marketing.
Many
internet marketers actually sell their created products
either because they have squeezed them dry of all possible
earning potentials, or they feel that they’ll
earn more by selling the master rights to the same.
This has paved the way for resale rights marketing,
which is an ingenious method of making profit out of
others’ works.
Think
of it first in the point of view of the creator. He’d
come up with an e-book that he feels is worth $60. But
his sales would depend on the success of his marketing
campaign. What if he’d sell the master rights
for the e-book instead to a hundred of his fellow marketers
for $25 each? He’ll earn an instant $2500, which
is a surer profit than the uncertainties involved if
he decides to market his e-book himself.
Now,
let’s look at it in the point of view of the resale
rights marketer. He’d buy the master rights for
$25. Granted that he’d share the same with 99
other people, the internet has a population of 50 million
surfers at any given time. Surely the ratio does not
convert to saturation of any target market.
Additionally,
the resale rights marketer can repackage the product
in so many ways that would seem novel and distinct from
how it was marketed originally, or how the other master
rights holders would market it.
It
is important to note that there are two kinds of resale
rights. First, we have the master resale rights that
grant you, basically, every right the owner has, or
had. Second, we have the limited resale rights, which
carry with it certain conditions depending on the license.
Here
are five options that a resale rights marketer can use
to maximize the potentials of any products he plans
to resell.
Re-brand,
repackage, resell. If the resale rights marketer holds
the master rights to the product, he could name himself
as the author, change a few things here and there, and
sell the product as something new.
Buy
and sell. The resale rights marketer can also partake
of the most fundamental principle of profit: buy low,
sell high. In our illustration, the resale rights marketer
bought the master rights to the product for $25. He
could sell the same master rights for a higher amount.
Or better yet, he could sell the product itself to many
interested buyers at a price that he would deem sustainable
and reasonable. Imagine if he succeeds on selling the
product to 90 people for $10 each. That’s $900
from a $25 investment!
Divide
and distribute. The resale rights marketer can also
divide the product into several components, and sell
or use them individually. An e-book, for example, can
be broken down to a series of articles which can be
used as auto-responders, e-zine content, or chapters
for other e-books.
Use
it as a freebie. If the resale rights marketer holds
the master rights to the product or is otherwise allowed
by the license, he could bundle it with another one
to increase the latter’s value and justify a higher
selling price. Or he could use the product as a freebie
in a viral marketing campaign he is employing.
Have
it auctioned. If the resale rights marketer holds the
master rights to the product or is otherwise allowed
by the license, he could have the product auctioned
to the highest bidder. This would allow him to earn
more than what he originally paid for!
There
are many other ways by which the resale rights marketer
can earn through this trade. The possibilities are only
limited by your imagination!
